Dilshuknagar Arena Animation

Dilsukhnagar Arena Animation captured 5 awards including 4 Special Campus Awards at the Short Film Festival of Vijayawada SFFV-2011 on April 5 and 6, 2011 at KL Rao Bhavan, Governorpet, Vijayawada.

Dilsukhnagar Arena's 2D Animation Short Film "Trashhed" won the "Silver Krishnaveni Award" for "Best Short Film" at SFFV-2011. Mr. Malladi Vishnu, MLA, Vijayawada Central presented the award along with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 to Dilsukhnagar Arena in the presence of Mr. Jampa Krishna Kishore – Vijayawada Film Society Secretary and C. Uma Maheshwara Rao – Film Director and SFFV-2011 Jury chairman.

Silver Edge Award presented to Image Metrics by Computer Graphics World

Brigham Young University (BYU) won yet another animation ‘student Emmy’ over the weekend, with this year’s winner telling a story that seamlessly incorporates computer animation and traditional animation.

DreamGiver, directed by student Tyler Carter, was a double winner at the College Television Awards Saturday, taking home hardware for animation and best music composition from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation.

Connectivity between Deadline and Shotgun to be previewed at NAB 2011
