But ever thought, a team of mere 5-6 guys hailing from Kolkata, in a small garage type studio, would able to execute vfx for big budgeted Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Break Ke Baad? But yes. It is. Indranil Roy, who moved to Mumbai with couple of his team mates a few years back, running his own small animation boutique and executing a lot of TV commercials, has done it. "This is the first Bollywood feature film project which we have executed" says an excited Indranil, who also happens to be the vfx supervisor  for the film.

Technicolor has developed a 3D certification program to make sure the video content meets minimum quality requirements before delivery to consumers, the company said Tuesday.

The Technicolor Certif3D program is geared toward broadcasters and network providers. Each shot will be evaluated by Technicolor against a set of objective criteria for stereographic reproduction, as part of the service, according to the company.

CG Today - Spanish audiovisual Spanish audiovisual exports to the Asian market have risen by some 75 per cent on year led by the animation segment, where demand is booming thanks to a mushrooming of Asian markets.

The appeal of international animations in Asia has been fuelling growth at Spanish production houses.

Industry players said that Asia is still niche for Spanish distributors but it is a very fast-growing market.

Asia currently accounts for 6.8 per cent of the overall sales pie for Spain - that is expected to increase to 10 to 12 per cent in the next two years.
