Sept 29th, London: DQE, the global entertainment production and distribution company, is pleased to announce licensing and merchandising agreements for 'The Jungle Book' in Israel. The agreements are with Osem Investments Limited, an Israeli subsidiary of Nestlé S.A. ("Nestle"), a food production and distribution company and also the Burger Ranch franchise, a fast food chain across Israel as introduced by D&C Israel ("D&C"), who are representing DQE's Jungle Book franchise in Israel for merchandise including toys, housewares, apparel, giftware, stationery, foods, beverages and furniture. D&C will administer the deals with Nestle and Burger Ranch in Israel on behalf of DQE.

Sand animation accompanied by a theme song on Mahatma Gandhi will enthrall audience at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games Oct 3.

Noted sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik will create this unique art along with three of his students in synchronization with the theme song by music maestro A.R. Rahman.

"I have the invitation from the organizing committee, and we are already practicing it" Pattnaik, currently in the US, told IANS.

"We are brining at least 10 kilograms of sand from the golden sea beach of Puri to create the art work," he said.

The 3DS will have the ability to play films in 3D. But what movies would we like to see on the handheld?

Ignoring gaming, perhaps the most exciting function of the 3DS  is the movie playback. Of course, this will support 3D films as standard. Flicks trailed at E3 include Dreamworks’ surprise smash How to Train Your Dragon. Footage was also shown from upcoming CGI animations Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, and Disney’s Tangled.

Co-op is the new everywhere mode, a bullet point that's wormed its way into Mario, Call of Duty, and Fable. What we generally mean by "co-op" is a mode that allows collaborative destruction, which is cooperation in only the most marginal way. While those two concepts frequently overlap in games like Gears of War 2, Crackdown 2, and Modern Warfare 2, there is an inherent contradiction in working collaboratively with another person only to destroy everything around you. What other ways of cooperating in play are there? How does our innate nature to both trust and mistrust one another affect the way we play together?
