Lightcraft's Previzion System Now Supports GPSLightcraft Technology, a developer of real-time visual effects technology for the film and television industry, announced that it has just incorporated GPS Tracking into its Previzion system with Osystems Inertial Navigation System (INS). Osystems INS technology provides a combination of high accuracy GPS and Inertial Measurement technology, so Previzion can now track cameras in real time in most exterior environments or locations.

To promote Beyonce's new release "4", record label Columbia and Parkwood Entertainment called on bi-coastal visual effects boutique Brickyard VFX to create a breathtaking commercial worthy of the superstar's ambitious new album. The spot, dubbed "Around the World" was created for global markets and presents a hand-painted view of iconic international landmarks and was completed by the Brickyard team in just six days.

Audio Engine Delivers Captain Morgan's Commercial SpotsAudioEngine's Partner/Mixer Tom Goldblatt recently wrapped the first spot of the rollout for Captain Morgan's newest high profile multimedia campaign, "To Life, Love and Loot" via agency Anomaly and editorial company Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Long known for its old Got A Little Captain In You? campaign and tagline, the rum brand has completely revamped its approach and created a new, pumped-up campaign titled To Life, Love and Loot. The sleek tongue-in-cheek spot, directed by Oscar winner Tom Hooper ("The King's Speech"), was shot off the coast of Spain and features two galleons about to engage in a maritime battle.

Cowboys & Aliens to Release in Select International IMAX Theatres

IMAX Corporation, DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures International today announced an agreement to offer the highly anticipated sci-fi western thriller Cowboys & Aliens in select international digital IMAX(R) theatres day-and-date with each territory's release date, beginning in August.

Charlex VFX for Krylon DualCharlex recently completed Dual, the second in a series of three new spots with Doner for client Sherwin-Williams and their line of Krylon paints. The spot's title refers to the fact that a single can of Krylon Dual now contains both primer and paint in one, "so the whole point of the spot was to show off just how easy it is to restore your troubled items to their former glory," explains director Ryan Dunn of Charlex. "For example, now you don't need to spray on two coats of primer then another two coats of paint. It gets expensive and time consuming. Now all you need is a can of Dual. Our art department was quite pleased with this news, I have to say."
