Indian artist Sudarsan Pattnaik creates Sand Animation for US President Obama

Internationally acclaimed sand artist Mr. Sudarsan Pattnaik from Orissa created a sand animation of US President Barack Obama’s face with a message “Hope for the best”. He has used 10 kg of sand on a glass platform.

Pattnaik said: “I have created this image especially for Obama’s India visit. I want to send him these pictures and videos for the memory.” Two days before he had created a sand sculpture on Obama’s India visit which was highly appreciated by the tourist. “I have created many sand art of Obama in India and abroad, like on the occasion of US Presidential election, Noble prize winning and face of the year, etc” Pattnaik said.
