Video game developer and publisher to leverage UltimatePay in order to expand credit card payment options for online game properties

Nexon America, the North American publishing arm of Nexon Corp., announced today a new partnership with PlaySpan, the global leader in monetization solutions for online games, virtual worlds, and social networks, and video games. Under the agreement, Nexon will leverage PlaySpan’s Monetization-As-A-Service platform to expand purchasing capabilities to millions of gamers and provide comprehensive credit card processing and fraud risk management services to cover sales of “NX,” the publisher’s virtual currency.

The only thing better than slaying countless hordes of enemies on the battlefield, is doing it in style. Dynasty Warriors Online,  the free-to-play action MMO from Aeria Games, lets players conquer fashion and the battlefield with rare armor, set pieces and special dyes. The luster of new armor not only enhances characters’ style, but provides speed, higher defense, health and other bonuses.

Characters can get new armor pieces through victory on the battlefield, in 24-person player-versus-player (PvP) battles, and by purchasing them from the in-game tailor. Depending on a player’s allegiance to the Wei, Shu or Wu Dynasties, different armor and set pieces will be available.
