VCL was entrusted by the Production House, Cutting Edge films to create the photo real Robot which plays a central role along with Katrina in TVC. In addition to the robot VCL also needed to create the CGI to help demonstrate the functioning of the ‘’Eco Navi’’ technology, this technology helps the AC sense the level of activity and detection of human presence.

RioActor Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey are set to lend their voices to upcoming 3D animation film 'RIO'.

Directed by Carlos Saldanha of 'Ice Age' fame, the Hollywood film is set in the city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforests of Brazil. It revolves around Blu, a rare macaw, who thinks he is the last of his kind.

When Blu discovers a female bird of his kind he leaves the comfort of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. The film will be presented by Fox Star Studios.

Technicolor 3dTechnicolor announced it has signed an agreement with Cine Project, a market-leading distributor and installer of analog and digital cinema equipment, to bring innovative solutions and pricing to the market and ignite the demand for Technicolor 3D in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

FrameboxxXsheet is a new incubation facility recently launched by Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects to provide high end, intensive training in Character Animation, a highly sought-after computer skill. The facility has been developed to meet the burgeoning demand for a specialized skill-set as well as training. The training, spread over five months, is designed to incorporate the right balance of Art and Technology.
