Prime Focus - IndigoairlinesThe Harvey B-Brown directed 'On-Time' spot for IndiGo Airlines has won the Gold Award in Filmcraft (Special Effects) at Goafest 2011. Post work, including extensive VFX was carried out by Prime Focus. Produced by Bang Bang Productions for Wieden + Kennedy, the spot also won Silver in the Editing and Production Design categories at the annual advertising festival.

Nice ShoesNew York-based creative studio Nice Shoes is premiering two lyrical 3D short films conceived, shot and produced entirely in-house. The films are part of a poetically-inspired series entitled Verses and directed by creative directors Brian Bowman and Aron Baxter.

"We picked poetry because it isn't an obvious choice for 3D," says Bowman. "Blue aliens on a planet far, far away makes a lot more sense in stereo, so we were just curious to find out if a visceral experience can be made more profound and emotional through stereography." Bowman and Baxter shot their respective short films last November with veteran stereographers Eric Robertson and Ross Heran.

Room 214 LogoTo celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Linux operating system, the Linux Foundation, a non profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux, hired Room 214 Productions to create a whiteboard animation of the story of Linux. The Linux Foundation provided Room 214 with the script and general story board to bring to life in the video scribe.

Playbox gamesPlaybox announced its expansion into the Android market with a new team focused on developing games for NVIDIA® Tegra™-powered super phones and tablets. The company also announced a Tegra-optimized version of their PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 hit title, Bang Bang Racing, under license from Digital Reality.

Since being founded in 2005, Liverpool-based Playbox has been focused on producing traditional console and handheld titles. Most recently it finished development of Bang Bang Racing for Digital Reality. Now Playbox is bringing its expertise and creativity to the Android space, focusing on games for Tegra-powered devices, such as Bang Bang Racing.
