Mumbai based Pixion Studios has recently delivered 250 VFX shots for an item song of Ranbir Kapoor in his upcoming film – Chillar Party
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl, Chillar Party is a co-production initiative of Salman Khan Being Human Productions (SKBH) and UTV's Spotboy. Releasing on July 8th, Chillar Party is a kid’s oriented film talking about good v/s bad where children along with protagonist “Bheedu” – a character played by Ranbir Kapoor fights against the wicked politicians.
Filled with fun and humor, Vikas Bahl the Director of Chillar Party proposed pixion for an item song Tai Tai Phiss with a short and crisp brief, 'Make something that's absolutely FUN'
When you have freedom and choice, it's a Wild Party. Pixion always been enthusiastic about new ideas and concept has plunged into this assignment pulling off their sleeves; it's again an opportunity to showcase their talent by creating a unique video.
Tai Tai Phiss was planned to be shot totally inside a studio against chroma and later replace the backgrounds with stylish CG lights and flashes. Ranadheer Reddy, Compositing Head of Pixion took the charge as an onset supervisor along with Prasad Sutar, VFX supervisor of the film. His presence on the set has ensured hassle free execution in order to check factors like Lenses, Distance, Angle Chrominance of Green and lighting. As the film was near to its promotion and release campaign, the challenge was placed against the artists to complete the visual effects for the entire song sequence of about 250 shots of background replacement in just 5 days.
